On an individual level, ascension refers to the process of changing one’s consciousness from one reality or set of beliefs, to another; from a limited 'three dimensional' perspective based on fear and duality, to a higher and more aware 'fifth dimensional' reality based on love and unity.
On a group or planetary level, ascension is about the collective expansion of a particular state of consciousness or beliefs to the point where that consciousness creates an entirely new reality; a new state of being. A hundredth monkey syndrome will begin to take effect, and the entire collective has moved from a limited third dimensional perspective where materialism, greed, and duality exist, to a higher understanding, embracing concepts such as love, oneness, cooperation and non-judgement.
We are each contributing to the collective creating of a 5th dimensional consciousness through our individual ascension processes.
Ascension is also about the raising of the lower bodies or self (ego) to the higher self or divine I AM presence. For others, it is the understanding of bringing heaven to earth, for the kingdom of God is within. and we must Be the change we wish to see in the world.
