The Gospel Defines Christianity
Theology contains man’s ideas about God. It is born on a natural, human level. Religion is man’s expression to God, based on his theology. The Gospel is far different from either theology or religion. It is a revelation from God. It is comforting to realize that the mind of man could never have invented the gospel. Only God’s mind can ‘invent’ it.

Genesis 1 & 2: Fact or Parable?
Many today, even Christians, take the Bible literally, not realizing that much in the Bible is parable or metaphor. When we insist that parable must be accepted as literally true we put a stumbling block of, well, biblical proportions in the way of earnest seekers. This article is intended for Christians, and such seekers alike.

Unity in Diversity
The body of Christ is one. The body of Christ is many. Which is it? One or many? The answer is trinitarian. How can there be unity in the midst of diversity? And how can there be diversity in unity? For the most part the doctrine of the Trinity has been considered to be a mystery. Christian unity must be understood as it is manifested -- in the diversity of gifts given to God's people. Philosophically, the doctrine of the Trinity answers the fundamental issue posed by Plato known as the one and the many.

One Foot in Heaven
Be wise when it comes to personal words you believe to be from the Holy Spirit. Check each against the written Word of God. Because the Word and God are One (John 1:1), the Holy Spirit will never speak a personal message to you that is at cross purposes with the Word. Keep your eyes on Him, your ears attuned to His Word and one foot in that Heavenly country.
