Crime and Punishment
Perfect justice must begin with absolute proof of guilt. Such is often not the case as evidenced by the numerous prisoners exonerated by DNA testing. Punishment meted out unfairly is one of the cruelest forms of torture. Our criminal justice system is often boggeds down with technicalities and loopholes. If we are to protect ourselves from such criminals, there are two logical choices.

When We Help Immigrants, We Help Ourselves
Both Liberals and Conservatives offer a unique solution to the growing problem of poverty. So, who is right? The answer is: We don’t really know. If anyone tells you that they “know” how to solve poverty, they are lying. Once Liberals and Conservatives admit what they don’t know, they can begin to work together to find a “real” solution.

Watch What You Say!
Before you raise your right hand and say I do; consider that George W. Bush and Donald Rumsfeld might be traitors according to the words of that old contract you want to defend. Every one who serves under them in silence, would also be traitors, as well as a U.S. Congress that should know the facts but would rather not.

When We Help Immigrants, We Help Ourselves
Almost all of us who are not immigrants, are descended from immigrants. The United States was built by immigrants and it will always be a country of immigrants. When immigrants succeed, we all benefit. Some of the benefits are immediate. This is our country, we have a right and a responsibility to help new residents learn how to live here. They won’t learn by seeing resentment and hatred on our faces.
